Flush floor hatches with checker plate cover recommended for interior use: Fabricate hatch frame with 3 inch channel and 1/4" checkered plate cover.  Fabricate cover to withstand loading of 150 pounds per square foot.  Provide heavy duty pintal hinges with spiral lift springs.  Provide hold open and closing arm which locks cover automatically in 90 degree position, equipped with red vinyl grip handle, inside snap lock and removable wrench handle. Provide recessed cast lift handle on outside of cover.

Model AF (Angle Frame)

Flush floor hatches for interior use where there is an existing opening, suitable for retrofit work: Fabricated hatch with 1/4 inch angle frame and 1/4 inch checkered plate cover.  Fabricate cover to withstand loading of 150 pounds per square foot.  Provide heavy duty pintal hinges with spiral lift springs.  Provide hold open and closing arm with locks cover automatically in 90 degree position, equipped with red vinyl grip handle, inside snap lock and removable wrench handle.
